Most people arrive here with two questions: how much does it cost, and will it still look like me.
Rhinoplasty (a "nose job") is surgery that changes the shape, size, or proportion of the nose. The surgeon reshapes the bone and cartilage underneath, which is why the change is structural.
Patients come to One Nadela for a higher bridge, a more defined tip, a straighter line after an injury, or to breathe more easily where the internal structure is the problem. It is performed by a licensed surgeon in an accredited facility.
What surgery can address:
Prices vary by technique, materials, and how much work the nose actually needs. A tip refinement is not the same operation as an open rhinoplasty with grafting.
Typical range across the Philippines: around ₱40,000 to ₱300,000, depending on the case.
At One Nadela: surgical rhinoplasty starts at ₱150,000.
You get an exact figure at your consultation, before anything is scheduled. We assess your nose first and then quote it. A number published on a page might not apply to your case at all.
Not everyone does. We would sooner say so at the consultation than after.
If you want a subtle lift with little downtime, a HIKO nose thread lift or liquid rhinoplasty using fillers may get you close to the result you have in mind. Those options are not structural, and they do not last indefinitely. For many patients that trade is worth it.
Surgery is the right route when you want a structural change that stays. At your consultation the doctor will tell you honestly which one fits your goal. Sometimes the answer is the non-surgical option. Sometimes it is to wait.
At One Nadela, rhinoplasty is performed under IV sedation and takes roughly 2 to 4 hours, depending on the case.
The surgeon reshapes the underlying bone and cartilage. Where added height is the goal, that is achieved one of two ways:
Which technique suits you depends on your anatomy and the result you want. The doctor walks you through the plan before anything is decided.
Healing is gradual, and the final shape takes longer to settle than most people expect. A realistic timeline:
First 48 to 72 hours. Swelling and bruising around the eyes peak. Expect congestion and some discomfort, managed with the medication your doctor prescribes.
Week 1. A splint protects the nose for 1 to 2 weeks. Rest, and keep your head elevated when sleeping.
Week 2. The splint comes off and most of the visible bruising has faded. Most patients return to desk work at around 10 to 14 days, though the nose still looks swollen.
Weeks 3 to 6. Swelling continues to settle. Strenuous exercise, heavy lifting, and contact sport stay off the list until your doctor clears you. The nasal bones need roughly six weeks to knit.
Months 3 to 6. The shape becomes recognisably your result. Subtle swelling often remains at the tip.
Months 6 to 12. The last of the swelling resolves and the final contour settles, which can take up to about a year.
Individual healing varies. You get written aftercare and follow-up checks through the whole process.
Short answers to what patients ask most before they book.
Performed by a licensed surgeon in an accredited facility, rhinoplasty is a well-established procedure. Every surgery carries risk, and the doctor goes through those with you honestly before you decide.
Surgery changes the underlying bone and cartilage, and those structural changes do not reverse. Your nose still ages naturally over time, as the rest of your face does.
Most patients take about 10 to 14 days away from work, and avoid strenuous activity for roughly six weeks. Your surgeon sets the timeline for your case.
By around week two the splint is off and most visible bruising has faded, but the nose is usually still swollen. It typically takes months for the refined shape to appear.
No. A HIKO thread lift or fillers can lift and define the nose without surgery or significant downtime. They are not structural and do not last indefinitely, so the doctor will help you weigh it.
Surgeons generally wait until facial growth is complete. At One Nadela the minimum age is 16 for female patients and 18 for male patients.
